For translating the course we are preparing the forms for online translation, the German and Italian structure are ready, others will be done until the end of this week. Access rights belongs to the partners. You can insert your translation by copy and past (using the insert dialog in the editor). If your translators wants to do the translation directly online, let me know their names please. In that case, they have to have an account and the right to access the translation pages.
During the Malt project meeting that took place in Leeds (UK) from the 6th to the 14th June 2009, in which we piloted a CPD (Constinuing Professional Development) course for teachers on motivating adult learners, project partners had to find out a solution about how to accreditate the couse at an European level.
Some questions raised by reading the report of the meeting:
In our Centre this week was lecture about Web 2.0 and education. We discussed about role of new media in process of life long education. We described different Web 2.0 tools un their possibilities in education process. There is link to photos
I am Nurcan Sen and working for the project of MALT. A research related to competences of adult teachers and CPD needs in partner countries of MALT project was carried out at the beginning of our project. You can find the results under MALT web site. One of the common CPD needs of adult teachers is to motivate learners. MALT teachers will be meet in Leeds, UK on 8-12 June, to pilot the CPD course on the use of ICT to motivate learners. After piloting it will be available for all adult teachers.
My name is Sara Danelon. I am working for the European Project called MALT “Motivating Adult Learners and Teachers”.
Working in an adult education center as: tutor, teacher, moderator what I saw during the last 4 years is a lack of interest on following lesson also about very interesting subjects. From a previous European project called Mo.Dal and from the esperience with this project MALT (Motivating Adults Learner and Teachers) it is not clear enough if students are non motivated because of a lack of interest about the subjects or because lessons are not developed in an interesting, interactive way.
