9. newsletter MALT - November 2009

The final conference of the MALT project Motivating Adult Learners and Teachers took place at 20th October 2009 in Latvia.
102 participants, adult trainers, teachers, local politicians and entrepreneurs joined our workshops, where practical applications of using IT in teaching and training were shown.
That conference also provided opportunities to establish future cooperations between partners and educational stakeholders on a European level.

  1. After successful performing of the CPD course, partners will find out the way of national/regional accreditation of that course.

  1. Currently, we have online discussions in our project weblog about why sometimes lessons are so boring?, Do teachers know if their lessons are interesting? and about How works the accreditation in EU countries?.

  1. How it is working the course accreditation in Europe? We had a big discussion during our meeting in Leeds about it. Please participate to our blog about this subject

  1. On the front page of our Website look at how you can easily access the most important contents of our project.  
  2. From 8th to 12th June 2009, 12 teachers from 7 countries participate to the piloting of CPD course. It was an English weather but, as you can see, learning together and developing new ICT skills in a European environment was useful but also entertaining.

1. Welcome to the newsletter MALT. This is the 1st number in which you can find some info about the project. MALT – Motivating Adult Learners & Teachers started from a previous G2 project.
